The fibre connectivity has also helped Dorna with their Media Asset Management from the racetrack as they record about 700 terabytes of footage each weekend which is transferred to Barcelona for further distribution to broadcasters, archiving and editing. Tata Communications operates a dedicated overlay video network globally on their existing fibre network which during a race weekend is extended directly into Dorna’s production environment.

This enables Tata Communications to provide a range of services including video, audio, ethernet, low-latency internet and FTP to every single one of Dorna’s global broadcast customers.
